Indian food

Yesterday I finally managed to get rid of a really annoying craving I’ve had almost all summer, which was the craving for Indian food. Sure I get cravings for chocolate, candy, training and other things as well but the last couple of weeks the only thing I’ve been able to focus on is Indian food.

That is why I yesterday I forced Stan to come with me to a restaurant called Open House which I’ve been to once before and which I believe is the reason for my cravings since I haven’t been able to get their paneer (Indian cheese) out of my head.

I just love it, all Indian food (or at least the vegetarian options, which are always many), even if it’s usually too strong for me (the case of last night, my mouth is still burning from the spicy garlic prawns and the chilly fried paneer I had).

Nairobi has some of the best Indian food I’ve tasted, most likely because of all the Indian people living here and especially in Westlands where the restaurant is located. And now I just had lunch and my cravings are over, thanks to the doggy bag we brought home with us.
