I haven’t written anything in a couple of days, I’ve had too much and too little to do for that. Monday-Tuesday was chaotic, Wednesday it was Madaraka day here in Kenya so we were free from school and Thursday-Today I’ve had nothing to do, which has left me completely exhausted from the effort of doing nothing.
Schools out (A two second dance every time I think of it).
Tuesday we were allowed to be out till 24.00 (Woho!) so almost everyone at school went to a place called Casablanca, which is quite close to school. It is a club that has the best interior design here in Nairobi, it is so comfy and they make the prettiest drinks ever, they are all so feminine that they sparkle a bit. Unfortunately this is usually a hangout for fat old white men with loads of money and their 16 year-old Kenyan “girlfriends”. But we just ignored them for the night and had loads of fun.
Wednesday was even better. We (Olivia, Axel and two other girls from school and I) went with a couple of friends from outside school to their friends and had a pool party. Most of the time we just hung out in the sauna because like all pools here in Kenya this one was freezing cold. The people who’s place it was were 3 Saudi guys, nicest guys I’ve met in a long time, after the pool party was over we went to their apartment and sat on their really cool low Arabian sofas and enjoyed the sent of strong Arabian coffee (I don’t drink coffee) till we had to go home.
Yesterday I did nothing and today I’m planning to do nothing. Maybe I’ll go to the gym, maybe I wont. Maybe I’ll sleep through the day and party all night and maybe I wont (most likely I will).
